Richard avedon
Biography:
Richard Avedon's interest in photography began at a young age. He was named Poet Laureate of New York City High Schools in 1941. He also served as a Photographer's Mate Second Class during World War II. At twenty-two, he became a freelance photographer mostly working for the magazine Harper's Bazaar.
